I don’t agree at all with the causes or the telltale effects you’ve identified as coming from each tool. I think that has more to do with the designer and their comfort level with each tool — particularly since the feature sets for individual designing are so similar between Figma and Sketch.

Tools can and do shape what gets designed but I think your assessment is flawed.
